This class was designed according to my own learning experience. The voice in my head came from my mentor Martin Ahrens. I studied with Martin 2 classes a week for 3 years. I drove to Charleston once a week and took a lesson mid morning and then another in the evening and then drove home to Hilton Head. It’s hard to believe that was over 20 years ago. Martin is gone now but I am honored to pass on what I learned from him. I taught My course Paint fast in Oils at The Art Academy on Hilton Head Island for 3 years.

Review

I first took Nancy Mitchell's class Paint fast in Oils at the Art Academy. I enjoyed it so much that I studied privately with Nancy for the next 4 years. I  tend to paint slowly but with her help I have learned to paint more efficiently. Because of her technique I have been in several shows and have sold many paintings.
